Get rid of the "scroll-changes-page" feature
On every single website that this feature has been rolled out to, it's been an abject failure of UX. Users can no longer control navigation on this website and others, and sometimes they lose an article they've been reading for good b/c of some convoluted, arcane bug that even an experienced developer like me can't wrap his head around. Worst of all, the page-change erases comments in-progress. That might be why there's comparatively little engagement on TechCrunch compared to sites that don't use this navigational defect. Please get rid of it or create a version of it that doesn't have these problems and makes navigating away from an article more intentional!
