Get rid of the split keyboard. Using it takes longer for several reasons. Not only does it take longer because I have to keep moving my focus back and forth from one side side to the other, it continually blocks my view of what I’ve written, finding and correcting mistakes, finding where I left off, rearranging formats, and/or inserting omissions. My messages are not usually short ones and having to go back and forth opening and closing the keyboard is a real pain. Then, when I take down the keyboard and find the needed change, as soon as I go back to the keyboard to plant the cursor to make correction, THE KEYBOARD COVERS THE TEXT PREVENTING ME FROM FINDING MY STARTING POINT!
