I recently noticed an ad bar that always has a company name, logo, link, and a "visit site" button that is just above the email header. This ad is very insidious because sometimes if the email is from a company, that ad bar will be for the same company. But not always. For awhile, I started to question whether legitimate email messages were spam because what appears to be a second email header had a different company link. I get the need to have ads. Just make the ads look like ads, not like a second email header just above the real one.
