    Folks don't seem to understand that Verizon/AOL/Yahoo probably "broke" the server on purpose, so that (a) you have to go through the miserable kabuki dance just to see a service YOU are paying for, (b) they get to force you to look at more ads--more revenue for them, and (c) if you do want to be able to access your e-mail using technology that does not allow them to farm your private data at their leisure, (c) have to PAY EXTRA for assistance (on top of the $1200 a year you send to Verizon). If you want to use your POP mail box, I suggest setting up your own domain--it does not cost any more then Verizon/AOL/Yahoo rip-off tech service.
