I wasted an hour of my time when I stupidly tried the new AOL mail. I don't like the layout and I couldn't figure out how to get my classic AOL layout back. I could not find the "Settings". I had to call Tech Support for help. None of the instructions I found through a Google search clearly explained where the settings are on the new mail. The so called new version is not nearly as easy to use as the old. Perhaps it has some features people might like but the user interface is not better and it's extremely difficult to find the settings. AOL itself does not provide clear help with screen shots of how to change back to the tried and true "Classic" version. The look and feel of the new AOL mail is a complete fail. The usability is very poor, Please don't force change. It's not good. Even trying it can waste a massive amount of time as it's not easy to figure out how to switch back to what you like. The new interface is more like sabotage than an improvement.

May suggestion to the developers of the new AOL. Have a very clear large switch at the top the gives the new AOL mail the exact look and feel of the Classic AOL mail with maybe some additional options for whatever new features there might be. I really don't know what they are because the look is too different, and actually not as good. As someone said the new look is more cluttered yet provides less information. From what others say it doesn't even work as well as the old. AOL would do better to fire a lot of the developers as they are just wasting time creating "new" versions that are far less user friendly and waste end user's time.
