When I sign in to AOL Desktop Gold with my usual username, my PC's disk usage goes up to almost 100% and stays there for a long time. Performance is adversely affected. If I sign in with one of my rarely used usernames, that does not happen.
In response to a chat inquiry, AOL Tech Support says that the issue results when the username has a large Personal Filing Cabinet and that there is no solution available.
If so, that is unacceptable. Surely there is something that can be done to address this problem. Pls advise.
