I agree! Please restore full control of SPAM filter. I have always kept off and did not realize AOL had switched on again. This has had some serious consequences.
Thank you for attention to this issue.

Flags in different colors would be very helpful!

By continually using the Not Spam button, you are training your spam filter and our systems to recognize important emails. Additionally, if you are using an email application, like Outlook, Mac Mail, Windows Mail, or the mail app on your mobile device, please check the incoming mail filters in the application’s settings, and change the filters, so that all new emails are kept in the Inbox.

In order to block incoming emails from an entire domain, go to mail.aol.com – Options – Mail Settings – Spam Settings – and add the domain name (e.g. @example.com) inside the “Block Mail From Addresses I Specify” field, click the plus button, then Save Settings.

Please restore control over SPAM settings!

I have always had SPAM settings off because my children's teacher's emails were going in there and I did not realize until too late, and one was adversely impacted, as a result of my non-response. This is damaging to our well-being!

I did not realize you recently, automatically turned the now, uncontrollable, SPAM filter back on, and more oversights are causing serious issues for me. I am a long time AOL customer and would be severely impacted by moving away from AOL, however will start process if I am unable to assure receipt of important, timely email, often with attachements, from new contacts sending group emails, such as newsletters, etc.

    Thank you for your attention,

    Kim Bishop
