I am being inundated with spam messages from "firstname.lastname@example.org" domains, but the domain name is different every time. Can you please PLEASE block everything coming from .us, or give us the ability to do so? We need a block that bounces these emails back to the sender, not for them to even enter the spam folder. Blocking individual addresses does not work because the spammers change the domain name constantly. (and this is hard because you have to remember the address and manually type it into your blocking page, because there is no one-click way to add them to the block list!!). After trying that for a few weeks, I feel like the emails have increased in number, from 5-10 a day to 35 or more. Maybe my reading them sent the spammers a return receipt so now they send more?
Not sure what happened with your filters, but I went from getting almost no spam to getting all this garbage, within the last year, and it is getting worse every month. Please put your filters back the way they were!
I've been on AOL since the early 90s and I'm deeply fed up.
Due to recent adjustments to the AOL Mail platform, the Spam Settings customization, are no longer available for all accounts. We apologize for the inconvenience. In order to block a specific sender, go to Options – Mail Settings – Spam Settings and add the email addresses in the box below “Block Mail from Addresses I Specify”, then click Save Settings at the bottom, and in case you receive unwanted emails in the Inbox, mark them as Spam.
