Features only work if you can get AOL Gold to open at all. Waaay temperamental.
My idea? Fire the AOL Gold Techs who pay lip service rather than fix the built-in AOL Gold problems, of which it is rife. I wonder what it must be like for the paid employees of AOL Gold to live in denial and constantly just pass the Buck, rather then addressing the inherent faults in this program which they so gladly charge up for. Truly disappointing.

Fix to work correctly! News feed is overlapping on searchbox.Lose the minimize,maximize,close buttons. lost all email contacts in a folder.
I was informed that I need to use this feedback app for a senior tech to respond to my many issues that could not be resolved by the techs on duty.

address book cursor
After going to the Address Book, have the cursor show automatically at Quick Find box.

Whenever I sent an email to an address, that address was automatically entered in my address book and became available the next time.
Whenever I sent an email to an address, that address was automatically entered in my Address book and the next time that I started typing that address, it came up as a selection. Very nice feature. Now it no longer works that way. I guess that I am surprised that positive features such as this are being removed rather than enhanced.

Create a way to copy the contents of a Group Email into a second (new) Group Email. This saves the original Group and allows the second one
I want a way to copy the email addresses in one Group into a new Group so I can edit or expand the Group.

This has been requested numerous times...here we go again. PLEASE update the program that when you are updating email addresses it does NOT revert to the A position ...it is a pain in the neck to delete addresses that have been auto added or delete people no longer needing their email. PLEASE FIX so it stays where you are presently working.

Address book ...
When updating address book PLEASE stop making it go to the top of the address book again ...if I am changing something in "S" I have probably already changed or deleted others previous to "S" ... so PLEASE don't make me scroll all the way down EVERY TIME a change is made! This has been requested many times by many people~

Here is your reply to our questions and requests to improve/go back to the way things were: "Unfortunately, what you’re looking for is no longer offered in the current version of AOL Mail."
That a p*** poor answer and reflects the attitude that paying aol customers don't matter to the company! Fix them or we're all gone. -
Address Book Feature Gone
I have a complaint. I have been able in my address book to always have all of my contacts in any given group in the bottom box automatically separated by commas. This feature is not longer available in Desktop Gold. It is a great inconvenience. It is moving me toward cancelling my aol after 15 years. It is a necessary feature for work.

Prior to 'Gold', 1. we could drag and drop an email address from the address line to the BCC line with ease. Now not so.
2. the old version let us amend or adjust the auto-filled address with a slight change. Not so now. I deal with lots of addresses that are 20 characters long with only the first couple of letters dif between recipients. Why can we not simply make that change without retyping the entire address.
3. and the actual address book was all screwed up. Why did you change all our contact info?
