email address book
You used to list email addresses by alphabetical name and now you list them chronologically. That makes an address hard to find!

Read my email setting
I noticed that the newest aol desktop gold build includes a read my email setting.
While this is nice to have, a few issues are present.
1) On my laptop, I have the highest possible resolution set for windows 7 and yet the read my email icon is half hidden. There should be a way to either scroll down or reduce the size of the icon.2) While the read my email icon is nice to have, not everyone will use it so have a way to customize the icons on the right hand side of the email window.

email synch with android aol app
Synch email on AOL mobile android app to AOL Gold Desktop. I am very frustrated when I go through all my emails on my AOL mobile Android app, end up deleting a bunch of emails that I don't need or want, but when an hour or 2 later I log in to AOL Gold on my desktop/laptop, all those same emails that I deleted are still showing 'new'. So the mobile and desktop AOL are NOT syncing email.

On desktop Go;d up and down scroll bar should be on left side of page as writing is from left to right and would certainly help left handers or maybe put it on both sides and keep everybody Happy

Mail problems and This Feedback method and total lack of easy support SUCKS!!!!
Since downloading AOL Gold when I had to reset my computer, it does't work right. Sometimes Sent or New mail doesn't show for hours!! Very frustrated!!! And now I have to sign in when I'm already signed in??? Really?!!! And forcing me to sign in on a Voice thingy sucks too. I've been with you since the 80's and am about to stop... what happened to "service"????

can you please give us an option to have the light blue bar scroll tab when looking at your mails, it's irritating.
Please take out the option for this light blue bar with the trash can picture, save picture, etc to the right of this light blue bar, Its irritating when cursor is moving up or down

Email groups missing
I just spent about 90 minutes with AOL tech support to try and fix why all of my email address groups disappeared. I tried to add a new group and AOL had a glitch and logged out. When I logged back in all of my email address groups were missing. I was told by tech support that they could not back up my address groups. I have maybe 60 different groups so I told them I was not a happy camper. Has anyone else had this issue? The tech support guy even installed a newer version of AOL Desktop Gold…

User defined and stored email history
Make a way to Save any number of past emails in large blocks (user selectable) anywhere from a single day or up to a year or more into a single file that contains categories of (sender) (recipients) (copies to) (blind copies to) (timestamp) (sent or received) (attachments) and (text body within the email), that can be stored on the users hard drive and searched WITHOUT having to go online. email problems
Since update with gold bar added-it is a pain and the sorting from or date order wont go to the top it seems to get stuck wherever the blue/gold bar was last...Very hard to navigate and we pay for this over 20 years please fix....
And the automatic e-mail saver to sent does not work anymore, and the auto populated one only works someones now when u are sending an email -

AOL desktop gold update feature is stupid and unnecessary; I should be able to opt out.

Automatically insert a space after inserting an emoji or pasting in a hyperlink.
Hitting the spacebar doesn't work to add a space. It is annoying and frustrating to find AoL adding text to the hyperlink or having to type text after an emoji in order to go back and add a space before the text.

Why did you remove the ability to see the photos in a sent message?
Before your update, the emails stored in the Sent folder had their photos that were embedded in the correct spot. Now they are just squares. Why the change? I am often asked to send another copy of a sent message with the photos and now it is much more difficult to do.

Stop emptying Spam Address Folder every few days, let it fill up to it's max 1st.
I follow the Desktop Gold instructions to the letter regards blocking SPAM by listing the SPAM Addresses into the "Blocked Mail Folder". Yet AOL keeps cleaning the folder every few days and I have to start all over again, with same SPAM addresses. And AOL is charging me for this stupidity...
