    To uninstall the AOL app, simply press and hold on the app’s icon until the “Uninstall” button appears.

    I have a couple of troubleshooting steps for you that should resolve this issue:

    1. Clear the app’s cache
    2. If you’re signed in, tap the Settings icon, tap Manage Accounts, then tap Edit, tap Remove
    3. Restart your mobile device
    4. Uninstall and reinstall the app with the latest version
    5. Lastly, switch the internet connection from WiFi to mobile data

  4. In Germany we use letters called Umlaut which are vocals with two dots on top.Since a while it doesn't work,shows instead questionmarks.

    it worked til May. This way I can't send correct emails.Please add the German Umlaute again! When I write it looks correct but getting it back I can see the question marks instead of ä ...

    The AOL App uses the device’s keyboard language. In order to resolve this, change the keyboard language to German.

    Please note that t he total file size is limited to 25MB per email, which includes both incoming and outgoing messages.

  9. how do you shrink large videos to email?

    AOL doesnt shrink videos for email Ive tried mobile data and it doesnt work.

    tired of getting duplicate copies of the same emails. PLEASE let me know what I can do to Stop them.

    Emails deleted from your Inbox or mail folders will be moved to the Trash (or Recently Deleted) folder, where it will stay for up to 30 days before being automatically permanently deleted.

    Here’s how to manage your notification sound:

    1. Open the AOL App.
    2. Tap on the Settings button (Gear icon on the bottom right).
    3. Tap on Notifications.
    4. Tap on ‘System Notification Settings’ or Tap on the Importance level (e.g. High, Medium, Low) depending on the device you are using.
    5. Under the ‘Email Received’ section, tap on your Email Address.
    6. Tap ‘Sound’ and after you chose one, tap the check mark to save it

  15. I select more than one email & select move to old mail they do not move no matter how many times I try and on different days. Annoying!

    These emails then get stuck in new mail or stuck in old mail if I am trying to move back to new. Some emails work fine but others don't maybe it the group selecting ticking on main mail folders that causes it.

  17. Allow zooming on emails

    I get text only emails sometimes as shipping notifications, and your app displays then so small as to be unreadable. There's no way to zoom in to read tiny text. You need a way to zoom in on emails.

    To adjust the zoom level, pinch two or more fingers together or spread them apart.

    Please make sure you have Chrome installed and enabled. Chrome must be the default browser for the AOL app to work correctly.
