  1. Everything was fine with my AOL app on Android until October 4th, then now I cannot delete my emails from the app. They keep coming back.

    Deleted emails keep coming back to folders. I've tried everything so far to keep them deleted. Problem started October 4, 2022. there was no problem deleting them before this date.

    Sorry to hear that you are having a bit of trouble with the App. To resolve this, please try the troubleshooting solutions below:


    1. Clear the app’s cache

    2. If you’re signed in, tap the Settings icon, tap Manage Accounts, then tap Edit, tap Remove

    3. Restart your mobile device

    4. Lastly, switch the internet connection from WiFi to mobile data

  3. I dislike that after opening a new email it's moved from the "New mail" folder to the "Old mail" folder. Pls make this optional in Settings.

    I see that this suggestion has been made. Still, I'll reiterate it. The status quo is very inconvenient and a major issue to me.

    Our members are always able to reset their passwords online for free through the sign-in helper at login.aol.com/forgot. Paid support is available for those times where passwords are forgotten, recovery channels are lost, not kept up to date, or for a number of other support concerns including mail settings, apps, device support and more.

  6. it's saying New York I want to put it as San Antonio Texas I don't know how to change it

    I mean did you have San Antonio Texas not New York I can't change it.

    Hi there,

    Please check your phone’s app permissions then select AOL and deny permission to location. After you did this, close/re-open the app and the location icon will appear for you to tap it and you will need to allow the AOL app to access the device’s location while using the app.

    Hi, sounds like you're using the US edition at the moment. To change this, you'll need to open the app's settings, scroll down to "Edition" and change it to "United Kingdom".

  15. why are all my NEW EMAILS going to trash first?????

  18. stop blasting my text messages with stupid NFL video clips!

    keep getting notifications to watch NFL videos. I don't want sports and being harassed by AOL isn't going to change that. you want to be noticed? how about annoying people, now I see you. and you are annoying af

    If you have trouble receiving emails, the first steps we recommend you to take is checking your Spam Settings and your Filter and Alerts settings. Please make sure they do not contain any harmful filters which may prevent incoming emails from reaching your Inbox. Should you find such filters, we recommend removing or modifying them, as needed. Please sign out and back in for the changes to take full effect.
