  1. I see others with the same problem. It's impossible to compose an email on my phone. The cursor jumps to another place and time.

    Since it's impossible to compose an email, I forward to another account. After more than 30 years, it might be time to truly relegate my AOL account to a place for junk mail .

    Hi. This issue is currently under investigation by our team and we hope to  have a fix in a new update to the AOL app. In the meantime, I would suggest using a different keyboard than the one you have, such as GBoard (Google keyboard) or Microsoft SwiftKey. We appreciate your cooperation!

  2. Everything was fine with my AOL app on Android until October 4th, then now I cannot delete my emails from the app. They keep coming back.

    Deleted emails keep coming back to folders. I've tried everything so far to keep them deleted. Problem started October 4, 2022. there was no problem deleting them before this date.

    The issue should be addressed by Samsung and fixed in the next One UI 5 update, which should start rolling out by the end of February. In the meantime, I would suggest using a different keyboard than the one you have, such as GBoard (Google keyboard) or Microsoft SwiftKey. We appreciate your cooperation!

    Hello there. This issue can be caused by having filters set on your mailbox. Please check your filters and if it's something there that you do not recognize or can interfere with your incoming emails, please delete them.     Hi, sounds like you are using the Old mail/New mail view. To change this, you'll have to switch to Unified View. Here's how: 


    1. Go to your AOL Mail inbox.


    2. Click Options | Mail Settings.


    3. Click the General tab, if not already there.


    4. Next to "Inbox Style," select Use Unified Inbox style or Use New/Old style.


    5. Click Save Settings.

    Due to some recent changes designed to improve the safety of our platforms and member privacy, we’ve made the process to create App Specific Passwords more secure. This can result in some difficulty when trying to set up an ASP from a new device.


    Please ensure that you try creating an app password without using an Incognito browser and use a browser where you have signed into that account in the past, for at least a couple of days. If this is not successful, there may not be a workaround; as we don't know if or when this feature will be available, we encourage you to use Webmail or the AOL app to access your email.

  14. Impossible to reply to emails. when you start typing it goes to bottom of sent email and can't see what your typing

    Hi there. Please make sure you have the latest update to the UI, One UI 5.1. You can go to your device's settings, tap on ''Software update'' to see if this update is available for you. If it's not, please try again later. Additionally, if you do have this version, please check to have the latest keyboard 5.6.10.25. Settings>General management>Keyboard list and default>Samsung Keyboard>About Samsung Keyboard (bottom of page)>Update.  If you need additional assistance, please contact us at help.aol.com 

  16. my emails on android are not syncing to delete with my pc
