You can leave it alone! I've been perfectly happy with my AOL account. Now I have to change it?
No wonder you are experiencing delays and systems issues? You've given all of your users a 10/20/2020 deadline and now everyone is scrambling to make changes. I do not even understand what you are asking me to do? AOL has merely been convenient but I also have a gmail account so I think I'll just move everything to gmail.
As we all know, technology is continuing to change and improve. While the connection you have been using may still work and was once the best, a better, more secure option is available. Basic auth is an older authentication method. A more secure authentication method called OAuth2 is now available. To ensure your account remains secure, we are requiring all applications to support OAuth2. See here more info: https://bit.ly/AOLAppPassword

You’ve created a disaster!
Let me receive my email thru my iPhone. I can’t get any of my emails now on my phone! This app **** is total BS. It doesn’t work. Time to dump AOL. Put things back the way they were. Always have to ***** with something!

Nice App, but one big glitch ...
I have been an AOL user for 27 years (since it was a Macintosh User Group accessed by dial-up modem). Just downloaded the new app and have tested it heavily the past 2 days.
Overall, quite functional and intuitive. I’m using an iPhone 8. But there is one big glitch, which needs to be fixed.
When I click email links from companies whose apps are installed on my phone, the AOL app fails to launch the apps! My “old” email program ALWAYS opens the apps that correspond with my email links. This is a fundamental function for a smart phone—knowing…
I have a couple of troubleshooting steps for you that should resolve this issue:
1. If you’re signed in, tap the Settings icon, tap Manage Accounts, then tap Edit, tap Remove
2. Restart your mobile device
3. Uninstall and reinstall the app with the latest version
4. Lastly, switch the internet connection from WiFi to mobile data -
Need major help
I thought this third-party email app thing was going to end today but yet I don’t notice anything
If your account is still signed in to an app using basic authentication on October 20th, we will block access on that application as a security measure until you make updates to your account. This does not mean you will lose your email. You have other options to access your email. See more info here:

Another problem
AOL gold on my laptop keeps crashing freezing nonstop
Thanks for your report, please try reinstalling AOL Gold and let us know if the issue still persists.

From old to new version.
I down loaded new version and got rid of the old, I used my same email address cause everyone has that email. I am still getting notices that the old is shutting down I must update. I also used my old password cause I have never forgotten it about many pass words that I do forget so I stuck with same email and password! Yet I still get the notices. By using same email and old password on newer version does this mean I will still lose the AOL?

How am I supposed to make changes if I’m blocked. And why do I have to tweet. I don’t have a Twitter account have have a Facebook account that’s about it. Very…

Lost composed emails beware
Recommend to users not to compose long emails on the iOS app as you can easily lose them by any accidental touching the screen, etc. I just wrote an email twice and lost them by touching screen.
Thank you for the review, we will pass it along to our product team.
