2. Why would you push out an update that blocks older devices not running ios17!!! I am now locked out of my email I have had for 30 years!!!!

   This is RIDICULOUS! You pushed out an app update to everyone & anyone who can not update to iOS 17 on their older device is SCREWED!! No warning, nothing!!! The blue pop up can’t be dismissed!! This is total BS!!

4. I can no longer access my mail because you are asking me to update your app on iPhone to version 17.0 . I do not have an iPhone and my ipa

   I cannot access my mail because I am being prompted to update my iPhone to 17. The problem is, I don’t use a mobile device other than my iPad. It is fully updated to 16.7. You need to fix this immediately. Someone didn’t think this through. Sign me out as disgruntled. I will never use aol again. Goodbye.

6. It’s telling me that I need to update and I don’t have a password cuz I’ve had it for years but it won’t let me reset it either,

7. Mail folders

   Please separate old and new mail files again. Having them all in one folder is awful. You have to go through all these emails just to find new and kept as new mail. Old mail that I want to keep is cluttering up the mail file. Please change it back- the update is terrible!

9. AOL iOS 8.0.1 inbox clips email text when iPhone Larger Text is enabled

   After the recent AOL iOS app update, the inbox message list no longer renders correctly when iPhone Larger Text/Dynamic Type is enabled.

   I normally use the largest iPhone text-size setting for accessibility/readability. Prior to the recent AOL app update, the inbox was usable at this setting. With the current AOL app version 8.0.1, the sender and message-preview text increase in size, but the height and spacing of each email row do not increase proportionally.

   As a result, the subject/message-preview text is partially clipped, adjacent messages appear crowded together, and date dividers can appear too close to the preceding message. This makes the inbox difficult to read.

   I confirmed that reducing the text size specifically for AOL under iOS Accessibility → Per-App Settings → AOL → Larger Text makes the clipping less severe. However, this requires me to use smaller text in AOL than my normal accessibility setting.

   This appears to be a Dynamic Type/Larger Text layout regression in the current AOL iOS app. Please have the inbox row height and vertical spacing scale appropriately with the selected iOS text size.

   AOL app version: 8.0.1
   iOS version: 26.6.2

   I can provide screenshots showing the problem at larger text sizes and the improvement when the AOL-specific text size is reduced.

    Bring the arrow back. I keep having to go to the sent folder to see if an email has been responded to. It sucks. Please fix it asap.

13. AOL Email is not Loading

    Hello. Just recently within the past week. I believe after a AOL app update or Apple iOS update, I can not use my AOL app on my 2021 iPad 9th generation device (which is running iOS 27). The new emails do not load at all. I keep getting an error message saying “check your connection.” However my wifi and internet is fine for all other devices and apps, so that cannot be the issue.

14. Still haven’t fixed their app

    Ever since 2 updates ago. The app doesn’t refresh for new email and won’t show any new email on the iPhone version. They did have another update recently but that still hasn’t fixed it. Deleting the app and reinstalling it temporarily fixes it but come a few hours later and the problem returns.

15. 8.0.3 update did not solve issues

    UPDATE — AOL Mail app version 8.0.3 did NOT fix the synchronization problem

    I previously reported a synchronization problem with the AOL Mail app on my iPhone and iPad.

    I have now updated the AOL app to version 8.0.3, but the problem continues.

    The problem is specifically with the AOL apps. Apple Mail on the same iPhone and iPad works correctly, and AOL Mail through Safari/AOL.com also works correctly.

    The AOL apps continue to have the following problems:

    • Emails deleted on my iPhone remain in the AOL app Inbox on my iPad.

    • The same email can appear in BOTH the Inbox and Trash in the AOL app.

    • When I delete the duplicate email from the Trash folder, it then disappears from the Inbox.

    • New emails can take an unusually long time to synchronize between the AOL apps on my iPhone and iPad.

    • At times the AOL app displays: “Couldn’t refresh, check your connection.”

    • I previously completely deleted and reinstalled the AOL app on the iPad. This temporarily cleared the problem, but the synchronization problem returned.

    • Updating to version 8.0.3 has NOT resolved the problem.

    This is not an Apple Mail problem. Apple Mail correctly synchronizes the AOL mailbox on both devices. AOL.com also shows the correct mailbox state.

    Please have the AOL Mail app development team investigate the synchronization/cache problem between the AOL iPhone/iPad apps and the AOL mail server, particularly the problem where deleted messages remain in the Inbox and can simultaneously appear in Trash.

    The AOL apps are not reliably maintaining the same mailbox state as AOL.com and Apple Mail.

    the problem survived the upgrade from 8.0.2 to 8.0.3. That tells them this isn’t simply a problem with the particular 8.0.2 installation.

17. AOL mail app needs another update ASAP!

    The AOL Mail app is not refreshing or syncing my new emails. I keep getting the error “Couldn’t refresh, check your connection,” even though my internet connection is working normally. When I log into AOL Mail through the website, I can see new emails that are not appearing in the app. I’ve tried closing and reopening the app and refreshing, but the problem continues. Please fix the syncing/refresh issue with the iOS app. Thank you!

    Delete All From Sender function is broken. It just asks to unsubscribe. I don't WANT to unsubscribe, I just want to mass delete the multiple emails from the same sender. Fix it PLEASE!

20. Notification doesn’t clear in. Notification center even if message is read

    This seems to be the only iOS app that doesn’t automatically clear the Notification Center if a message was read. If I read an email, it will remain in the Notification Center unless I manually remove it. Please make it that the notification automatically goes away (the badges do go away, just not the alert in Notification Center).
