AOL support did help with one issue with custom folders. Whoever Thunderbird is now getting an error saying my password isn't correct, but the same password works with browser.

AOL is the biggest pain in the butt. I probably will be the last person in America to use it because I stick with things, but sheesh. I constantly get messages that I need to update my password, but then it says I have the wrong password. Then I get an email that says it's because I have dual authentication, and to go get an app password, so I go to the log in page to do that and all it will give me is my personal info. No sign of "app password" to be found. So then I go to the AOL home page and look at all these weird little icons that I can't really make out and can't figure out what they mean. At this point, all I want is to find is "account settings" because I think obviously aol doesn't play well with Outlook and I just need to shut the **** dual authentication off. But where is "account settings?" And once I find it, will I be able to find dual authentication, which I turned on in the first place because my aol account is always the one that's getting hacked. then I look at the clock and realize I've spent 90 minutes dicking with this **** and I wonder why in the world I still use aol. You need to hire a person with expertise in "user experience."
