AOL Search: Destination Confidence & Intent Assist
I would like to suggest an improvement to AOL Search focused on helping users identify the most relevant destination for their search intent.
Users may sometimes struggle to distinguish the most useful result from similar links. Destination Confidence & Intent Assist would aim to improve result clarity by providing clearer destination descriptions, better intent matching, and useful context to help users choose the right result.
The goal is to reduce unnecessary clicks, improve search satisfaction, and help users complete their tasks more efficiently. Potential success metrics include successful task completion, search refinement rate, and user satisfaction.
This is an independent product improvement proposal intended for consideration by the AOL team.

I've prepared a detailed product solution document expanding on this idea, including the proposed user experience, implementation approach, and potential success metrics. I would welcome the opportunity for the AOL product team to review it and consider whether the proposed improvements could enhance the search experience for users.
