totally incompetent help with ongoing problem !
3 family members all with AOL accounts started at same time apx.3 decades ago - yesterday at 6 am when accessing my account got verification requests - codes never arrived at working email alternate - after several attempts account was locked !!! - 6 hours of attempts failed because account could not be verified !!! - finally paid for paid support - check ed problem + changed my password + i was able to sign in - this morning again could not sign in w/o verification - again email codes requested on my Yahoo account did not arrive for over 5 hours - logged out + got code via text - every attempt since than requires verification !! spent over an hour with two different support techs to ABSOLUETLY NO resolution - only one desk top shared with , other two AOL account holders can sign in w/o problems - regular tech support unreachable + paid support totally useless - check off box to remain verified does nothing at all - all three use same desk top + i'm the only one that has to go thru verification many times a day - !!!
