OK, I called the AOL* SERVICE phone number on my credit card bill 800-827-6364 and asked for help with canceling stuff. You blame it on COVID. Says go to cancel@aol.com or help@aol.com. Nonsense. Please cancel this stupid System Mechanic and quit charging me $29.99 for AOL* Service, whatever that means. This is highway robbery. I have been a good paying customer for 20 years or longer. No wonder all my friends are switching to yahoo or gmail. Don't you like us customers anymore?

LIKE I SAID, DO NOT EVERY RECOMMEND SYSTEM MECHANIC TO ME EVERY AGAIN. YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT I WENT THROUGH WITH MY DOWN COMPUTER AND THE MARCH/APRIL 2020 VIRUS STUFF. IN ADDITION, I AM A CAREGIVER TO MY 92 YEAR OLD SPOUSE AND USE MY COMPUTER FOR GROCERY
ORDER/PICKUP, ETC. -

I (kaliekid@aol.com) foolishly opted in for the System Mechanic. It didn't do anything more than my CCleaner so I canceled it prior to the end of the "trial period" and filled out a questionnaire about why I wanted to opt out. Then two days ago I was forced to pay the "subscription" fee...AOL help my computer ******* until I did a hard shutdown. Then I was allowed back in....only to be forced to give them payment info. This done...I waited several minutes to resume my AOL...AGAIN I HAD TO DO A HARD SHUT DOWN.!!! Do yourself a favor do not try this System Mechanic unless you want to be held *******...not able to stop AOL or do or go anywhere...I have used AOL for years...I am seriously thinking about stopping using AOL...
