AOL should have just said hey everyone we no longer support your portfolio, you're screwed now. There was no transfer to yahoo. Oh it does show my portfolio name but it is completely empty. What a waste of time.

Do Not cancel AOL Portfolios. It is far more user friendly than Yahoo Finance. I am payong for AOL Gold - I do NOT expect your service to decrease!

I find the Yahoo finance page extrememly difficult to utilize. First, I cannot enter just cash into a portfolio even using "SScash" as a symbol. It takes the info but it does not calculate the value and does not populate into the portfolio value. So it is not helpful. Perhaps you should look at the design of the old AOL portfolio and copy that instead of trying to link our portfolio information into brokerage accounts? Make your design more user friendly. Most people using this are not professional traders. they have much more sophisticated programs.

For hells sake the transfer to Yahoo is a disaster. Left out Brk.a, BRK.B and Paypal. Not to mention it doesn't transfer your cash.
Typical AOL MESS!!!!!

There is NO way anyone trusts Yahoo with their portfolio information given all the the hacking that has gone on. I just don't understand why AOL is constantly finding new ways to get WORSE.

AOL Portfolios has problems but at least it allows me to access the information I desire. Yahoo portfolios does not. KEEP AOL PORTFOLIOS or you will lose many subscribers, like me!

Yahoo is terrible. I followed the instructions to the letter and lost all the stocks I was following. The reason I have stayed with AOL is because everything was in one place. If you keep farming things out, it won't be worth staying and I've been with AOL from the start when it was dial-up. If the corporate powers are trying to slowly kill AOL, they are doing a fine job. Now I have to re-build all my portfolios, lost of wasted time.......

I am unable to edit my holdings on the Yahoo site. It is aimed at trading, not tracking. I want the AOL portfolios, which can be used for tracking, to continue.

keep the AOL portfolio which is a tracking portfolio. The Yahoo one is a trading portfolio and does suit my purposes. I have stuck with AOL all these years because of the portfolios. It was easily edited which appears impossible with Yahoo. Please reconsider.

My Portfolios is one of the most appreciated and helpful componens of the AOL experience. The Yahoo Finance alternative appears confusing and difficult to manage. It's a shame to lose this feature.

So far my portfolios have not shown up on the Yahoo deal. 'No portfolios'. Is this any picture of the way I can expect to be treated? Cannot get to my portfolios on AOL like yesterday, so I quess this is goodby to portfolios.

I agree with all that the others have said.
Given how hit or miss delivery of the reminders from my Yahoo Calendar are, I had little hope that this would be anything but a total disaster.
I was right.
Given no other choice, I went ahead and transferred my AOL portfolio after downloading it to a .csv file.
Apparently, it transferred a different one of the multiple AOL ports I had created, than the one I wanted, so I deleted it.
Returning to AOL, it said that I had already transferred my Port. Apparently, no do-overs.
I tried the import feature on the Yahoo Portfolios. Nothing happened.
God how I hate "new and improved"!!
I cringe every time I see that with something I use and depend on! -
