This is in addition to feedback I just left, #3261, case #15202578.
I wanted to email you some screenshots but couldn't get your direct email address. Anyway, this has to do with usernames used in 'conversations' in postings about articles on your AOL Mail page. AOL has given me 2 different usernames. Well one I chose--3deedan--but the other one--3deedan785--I did not choose. I am not allowed to edit the user names. I have no way to control which username an AOL conversation decides to use. I only want the 3deedan username and not the 3deedan785 one. I want all AOL conversations to use the 3deedan username. Note that this username is not my AOL/email username but is only for the conversation section of the articles. I could and did specify 3deedan as my 'nickname' on a different page but then AOL sometimes decides to modify that as my username--in this case adding the 785 to 3deedan. PLEASE FIX THIS. And, if possible, move the points from 3deedan785 to 3deedan so I won't lose them.
I have checked other email addresses I rarely use. I've never posted in comments from these addresses and am not worried about them but did notice the default usernames given by aol were different. The problem is that both 3deedan and 3deedan785 are being used seemingly randomly by AOL in my email username dmkjmhs.
I noticed this after clearing browser history and TIFs. That may be the reason for this although doing that maintenance is common and I would expect many others to be experiencing it. Or the timing may be coincidental.
