Stop allowing comments on your articles please
We have come to a point in this world where people who are anonymous find the need to make cruel and inflammatory comments at every opportunity. There are even some who will make these comments even if they are not anonymous, I see no reason to give them any platform. Though it would be nice for everyone to be able to comment, it seems that you have no way to monitor the comments adequately, therefore, the only logical course of action would be to stop all comments.
It has gotten to the point where I don't want to read any of the articles on AOL...or elsewhere, because to view the comments, only makes me sorry to be a part of such a sick society.
By giving these sadistic people a platform to trumpet their hate, you only encourage them to push the envelope further.
Please find a solution...or eliminate the comments altogether.

Where was this post when Trump was president? Now you're asking for civil discourse? People need a voice. All of a sudden Democrats are in charge of Washington we shouldn't hear from the public about certain news stories I see. Too afraid people will start exposing the Democrats as frauds?
