Reevaluate your censorship policies
Your censorship has gone overboard. I have been censored for 2 days straight for no reason. Admittedly I have said some things and was censored for it rightly so but now I am being censored for everything regardless of what I say. I have even copied someone else's post and made it my own just to see if it would be censored and it was when the original was accepted.My question is why have I been targeted when others have posted far worse and was accepted?

For no identifiable reason, I have been "banned" from commenting on AOL Every comment or reply has been automatically rejected after one comment garnered a mechanical "Failed to Post" malfunction.
The comments do appear in my "Profile" log as being posted, but are immediately removed from actual posting on the topic sites.
Have I had opinions? Yes. Have I been pulled over a time or two by the AOL Thought Police when snagged by their AlGoreRhythm? Yes, but always followed by a more politically correct and toned down version which passes.
I have been with AOL for over 20 years. I pay for the right to have an opinion just like everyone else.
Perhaps this is just one more reason why anyone under 50 equates AOL with "Land of the Dinosaurs."

You folks, just like alligators devour ,the average person with all of you attention getting headlines. Im fairly sure yoi dont care because its NEWS . Grab the attention .thats all its about. "Head line" Alligator killed for what he does naturally.That's sad . Its sad a person was killed ..........but at 15 feet long just living day to day i don't think it was with malice .AOL ........15 foot alligator caught shot and dismembered ...........it was a accident ...........maybe the guy shouldn't been out side in a Hurricaine . Just bothers me that for just living, to become 15 feet long ,some ******** kills the beast now hes the town hero ...... some world we live in ...and incidentally I am a fire fighter in NY for 34 years and i never killed any one or any thing ! I have the same problem. I have been censored and have no idea why. Even simple comments that I make like"you are correct" are censored. What is wrong with that comment? I have been on AOL for 20 years or so and NEVER had a problem but I do now. I am paying for your services which includes includes commenting on news feeds and I want it back.

Please reinstate my ability to comment. It has been a month that I have been restricted from commenting for something ( I don't know what), that apparently stepped outside of AOL's guidelines.
I see, even as of this morning, many people who use profanity, (masked by spelling it phonetically),
degrade and call other commentators names, and various other affronts to your guidelines.
I have not been offered an explanation, or reason for being censored.
I believe, but don't know for sure, that others commenting on here can log reports against people they dislike or disagree with in order to ban them from commenting, and that enough of them band together you will be censored.. If that is the case, it is wrong and deeply flawed.
Again, please reinstate my ability to comment. -

I'd like to know how this comment is Not allowed due to censorship: "Is it assumed all men involved should use a condom as well? Interesting how men are so often not held responsible for their half in conception / lives before, during or after. Where is the law that men fully support all their children financially in equal measure, with garnishment, liens etc as necessary."

I would like to have my commenting ability returned. I read stories where people keep posting misinformation, and outright lies, and they receive no sort of censoring.
If you wish to promote civility and community, start by silencing those who promote conspiracy theories and lies.Thank you.

I have the same problem of always being censored and after over 40 years with AOL I'm convinced they never listen to feedback. I read stuff allowed that is certainly offensive to some people but allowed to be shown. I read what I write that is censored and compare it to other comments and it's definitely not offensive but simply an opiinion. Which is what I thought the site was created for!
