Offensive, inappropriate ads = stupid marketing
AOL's market research is completely useless. I get ads for products that a stupid, balding, middle-aged straight man might think he needs--but I am a woman with degrees from two prestigious institutions of higher education, retired, widowed, "old" and not buying any ****. But there is no way I can remove those ads. Ad revenue is the motor of all online portals, whether you pay for any of its services or not, but showing the user completely inappropriate ads is truly stupid.
