They were groping at her,
Trying to take pieces of her
Tearing at her very heart and fabric,
Searing this Nations very soul.
Just to feel justified in
Making them feel whole again.
Did they win? *******, I say.
Not in this country of mine.
Yes, this is my country and our flag,
I am talking about.
They played her with their lies,
Taunted her, trying to tear her down
Right in front of our eyes,
They thought of her that they
Had broken her
They tried to leave her bruised
And battered.
Yet, she still flies high and still breaths
Each every day.
Knowing that the ones that caused it,
Will never have to pay.
But I say to you; What says you?
This can work only one way
When they decided and tried to take
This Country of ours by **** and force,
What we all need to do
Is get out and Vote,
Instead, three million votes
Make it five million votes next time.
Or you and I might just lose this country
To a few.
