category 'welcome page' on desktop version

Please bring back the old desktop 'welcome' page. I guess you're trying to synch with the online page, but I pay for the desktop because I like it better.

    I won't need to pay for the desktop AOL any more, I guess. But I dislike the online version, so maybe I won't want AOL any more, after 25+ years.
