Make canceling subscriptions easier to find.
I inherited my AOL account from a previous user who subscribed to the ad-free paid subscription for $4.99/mo. Since I have started using the account, every time I log in to view my emails I get a pop up message stating that I need to update my payment method and that there is a balance due. Since I don't want this service and have not updated my payment method, I figured AOL would cancel the subscription for nonpayment at some point. But here we are two months later and I am still getting the "Update payment method" messages. I have a very busy schedule and trying to find a way to cancel this ridiculous subscription has been a nightmare and from reading other AOL user comments, it looks like AOL is quickly losing popularity due to bad business decisions that pertain only to AOL rather than the customer. But that seems to be the way of American business these days doesn't it. The business man cares about the customer needs until he gets your money. After that, they couldn't care less unless of course you keep giving him your money. It makes me sick! How much will you care when you are filing for bankruptcy because you lost all your customers to shady business scams? I guess we shall see. Don't be greedy. There is too much of that in this world. The way to remain competitive and outlast the rest is by keeping your CUSTOMERS NEEDS ahead of your own!
