Too many things popping up on news stories. Please eliminate the new comments ribbon on top and the video option that follows the story.
New comments, the replica of the video at the top of a story, most of the time unrelated to the issue at hand, plus advertising pop ups make it difficult to read your stories. By adding more things it complicates the reading - not the way I’d like to start my day.Simplify please.

Stop the stupid pop-ups when someone "likes" one of my comments
If I want to see how people responded to my comments, I will look at my notifications. I was just reading comments to one news story and was about to "like" a comment when I got one of those stupid pop-ups. So instead of my click allowing me to "like" the other poster's comment as intended, the click hit the pop-up which took me to the other news story the pop-up referenced. i did not want to go there. Stop adding wasteful, useless, unnecessary "enhancements" to the comments forum. It only makes the experience worse.

The current news doesn't populate on standard version of aol-compuserve and still its stuck with the news that I had months ago. please
Have the news updated on standard version when accessing AOL Today's features . Because I DONT LIKE the Basic version on how it looks like.

Try “baseless” anywhere other than GOP. Why is the Capitol Police denial of GOP, not a baseless denial? Is your response baseless?
Describe baseless and explain the basis of your description, then you will find that the word could be used with every claim from; You love your spouse, to; “They papered over the windows so no one could observe, at the Detroit ballot counting station.” Your use of it is school-kid gotcha, and pitiful.

Every time I log in, it says my location is New York, New York when in fact I'm in South Florida!
maybe AOL could tell us how to fix this issue??

Despite my pretty high intelligence (grad work @Harvard, etc.,), my posts are sanctioned. Is it due to the dumbing down of America that is the goal?
