After a half hour I haven’t even been able to open an e-mail. Is this thing even functional?

This is a head scratcher. Where are my old e-mails? Why do I have to wait for over a minute for every function?

With the new AOL I like that the archive, mark unread etc options are more clear and I also like the pop up you get when you delete or archive something but everything else I don't like.
So I went into settings and clicked old AOL instead of new but nothing changed. I tried this a few times and nothing happened, so I'm stuck with this, if this "basic email" doesn't work. I'm not sure what I'm getting in for clicking "basic email" hopefully it'll be better but if not I might have to get an new account with someone else.
With the new version it's huge so I can only see 3 or 4 emails then there's a giant advert in the way.
You've also gotten rid of the time! Really disappointed with that, it just says yesterday now which is not helpful.
What I would like to see is the search function being improved because if I search a word that I know is in an email, it won't come up. I'll have to scroll and scroll and scroll to find it. That's also another thing you can't skip to a year or month.
I would also like to see room for more attachments too. Thanks for listening to the feedback.
