Deleting an email from the notification on an iPhone or in the iPhone app should delete that email completely from my aol inbox

When I am using the AOL app on my phone and delete unwanted messages, they are still there when I go to my desktop (and vice versa). VERY annoying!
I would love a response to this concern. Active AOL customer since inception.

this just started happening to me today, with the new ****** AOL. It worked perfectly yesterday. This needs to be fixed ASAP, this is not a change in view or "look and feel", this is a bug. and an annoying one.
