GO BACK TO CLASSIC EMAIL
I just want classic email back. I've had it since 1995. Can't handle the change, don't mess up what already works.

This comment is similar to the one I made on the suggestion that had almost 14,000 replies, but now appears to have disappeared (along with my comment).
Why can't we have the option to return to classic AOL? It was there a few weeks ago (here in the UK), so why can't we have it now?
Like others on here, I tried the new version several times whilst it was optional, but quickly returned to the classic version as it was far superior in all aspects. -

I am not happy at all with how my account has recently changed. I do not like the way my aol mail is displayed. I want it back to the way it was 1 to 3 months ago. I am very unhappy with what you have done and am considering ending my 30+ year relationship with aol.

My mail is now a nightmare. I want new mail and old mail separate. When I save as new I want it there, I don't want opened mail sitting month after month in my new mailbox. I want to be able to find my old mail when I need it.

Please, please bring back the older version. At the very least, please give us the ability to edit emails (e.g., font size, text color, add bullets). The toolbar has disappeared and I have spent too much time already trying to figure out how to bring it back.
Really bad redesign. You have made a lot of money from your users by selling ads. Please respect us.

I AGREE! It looks like administrators and/or executives just HAVE to change somthing these days. DO they have to rename somthing, change appearance (like this mail system), or buy another company, or whatever, to think they'll be taken seriously? IT'S COUNTERPRODUCTIVE!

Last time I checked there were like 18,000 complaints. Not bad considering that only 1 in many bothers to comment! Now there is only 200. Is this something like the last presidential elections?
I'm using Thunderbird to access my AOL email. This way I avoid the leftist news comments and even better, avoid your ads! I only get to AOL to complain, like now.
I don't know what the bean counters thought when they rammed down our throats the same horrible email scheme Yahoo and Gmail use. Typical corporate blindness. I would have left AOL the second you did, but 'm glad I found Thunderbird! -

The new 'improved' version is most definitely *not* an improvement.

I am horrified to find that my AOL is now displaying sexually explicit advertisements, and I can not get it to stop.

Can't believe I am paying for this. Used to be worth it. I guess if they want us to learn something new, instead I can instead learn how to switch to a different user name in all my online accounts. That, and the user friendly former email version is why we stick with aol. Now half that reason is gone.

I never had a problem editing a list of contacts - new version seems to invite you to edit but doesn't update or save changes...useless.
