GO BACK TO CLASSIC EMAIL
I just want classic email back. I've had it since 1995. Can't handle the change, don't mess up what already works.

I want the old format back. It worked. New version missing functions.

I agree with Cindy. Ditch the changes. Don't bother me with your problems!

Changing the mailbox is terrible for me. I spent a long time with VIP help trying to be able to
answer an email, and now I find that when I scan a bar code with my phone and email it to my
aol on my computer so that I can print it out and post it for my team, I can't open the scan on
my computer and therefore can't print it. In the old mail I just clicked on the email and it opened
up and I printed it. This is really hostile to your older users, especially the ones with paid accounts. I use my account for work everyday, and I don't have time to relearn everything
while I'm trying to get things done. -

How do I change mail back to the way it was? This new version is awful!

You took a perfect product and ruined it. What did you do with SEARCH?
-
JOSHUA GALITZER commented
Why did you make SEARCH disappear? Impossible to use efficiently. Now I have to wade through days of messages to find a message I saved the other day. Instead of improving the product, you've ruined it.

I hate this format; & its costing me time & money. Go back to classic. The old one is user friendly for my business. This new one is awkward & I can't use it for my biz. Please Please Please

The classic email is much easier to use, grouping of messages , saving and/or deleting.

I have given this format a whole day, hate it even more as the day goes on. Please give us the option to go back to the old and very easy to navigate format.

Not sure what you were trying to accomplish. You didn't improve or enhance anything. You simply moved stuff around such that it now takes me more time to find where stuff that I have used since the beginning of AOL (started with the 3 1/2 hard disk). Wasn't worth the time, money, employee attention in my humble opinion.

I know it takes time to absorb and get used to a change. But as a person who worked for decades as a web usability designer, the layout is simply not user friendly. The most needed options are further apart and the icons don't always make sense. Having just the trash option pop up most prominently when clickin on an email is frustrating. The sizing (I work with multiple monitors) is aggravating and doesn't play as well as the former design. I hope this wasn't a change-for-change sake decision because those are the ones that inevitably make users frustrated. The folks at DropBox darned near lost their business over doing that not too long back and have slowly returned many of the features they deemed "uninmportant. Sometimes underlying technology demands some changes - and that's just the way things go. But I would strongly suggest that you get some real-life users on your side who can do some true usability testing and give you some good feedback. Thanks for the opportunity to comment.
