I want my email function back!!!!! It's the ONLY function that I care about!

PS. Half the time I use the scrollbar to access my mail folders, it does not work.

The new AOL format is a throwback to the 1990's when everything was new. I have two accounts, one with AOL and one with gmail. I normally use the AOL account because it was very user friendly. Not anymore. There has to be a reason why AOL is trying to shed customers. Even the login process is now a painful experience.

New mail format is a major net negative; one issue is that mail on my Mac no longer syncs with mail on my iPad or iPhone.

I completely agree. I hate that I'm now scrolling to try and find the send button. Why on earth did you move it to the bottom??? If I wanted Gmail I would use GMAIL. I want my AOL back.

GO BACK TO CLASSIC EMAIL
I just want classic email back. I've had it since 1995. Can't handle the change, don't mess up what already works.
I hate the new format! It doesn’t work. I can’t see what a message is about to know whether I want to delete it, or not.it takes longer to delete mail. When I’ve read a message, it still shows up in new mail. The format simply doesn’t’t work properly.
And now, I can’t seem to access my mail at all. I keep getting a message that there is no internet connection. Since ever other page I access works, it must be a problem on your end.

This isn't the first time AOL has re-hauled its programs. As a user since 1997, I remember the multiple *upgrades* throughout the years. Yes, we hate them. Yes, this new change sucks. I hate it too. It unnecessarily complicates the userface. But, you guys, we have to stop with these hundreds of complaints of "bring back the old, classic version". That version is gone forever. Customer service has confirmed this. The only constructive thing we can do now, if we choose to stay with AOL through yet another burdensome change, is to pick the specific things we'd like to have (back). They probably won't listen to us. This is a done deal, and they simply don't care. But maybe they will if there are enough complaints about specific issues.

Cannot search mail

I hate your new e-mail. I want my old, basic e-mail back. It worked. I was happy. I can't seem to to find a way to get it back. What is wrong with you?

I agree! This new email is abominable. Let's go back to what worked fine for so many years and scrub this approach. Don't need "Neuveux" for email.

I want the Classic back ASAP. I liked the bigger screen for my emails and separate spaces to search my mail and websites.

Agreed. The navigation on the new version is terrrible. I cannot view emails in total and/or find the scroll bar. It disappears constantly and makes using AOL less than enjoyable. Emails are difficult to write, especially if I try to CC a reader. The send button disappears. I have been an AOL user since getting my first email. This is the first time I have ever considered a change.

Please -- we NEED the old system back NOW!!! You can see from the responses that this is not popular at all. My biggest issue is the writing pane for emails -- only one-half inch!! I do like to proofread! I cannot find any guidance on customizing the panes/windows for this.

Why is AOL so hard to navigate? I just posted a comment and reverting to classic email, can't post it, and can't revert. What is going on here?
