GO BACK TO CLASSIC EMAIL
I just want classic email back. I've had it since 1995. Can't handle the change, don't mess up what already works.

Agreed. The navigation on the new version is terrrible. I cannot view emails in total and/or find the scroll bar. It disappears constantly and makes using AOL less than enjoyable. Emails are difficult to write, especially if I try to CC a reader. The send button disappears. I have been an AOL user since getting my first email. This is the first time I have ever considered a change.

Please -- we NEED the old system back NOW!!! You can see from the responses that this is not popular at all. My biggest issue is the writing pane for emails -- only one-half inch!! I do like to proofread! I cannot find any guidance on customizing the panes/windows for this.
Ridiculous change!!

Why is AOL so hard to navigate? I just posted a comment and reverting to classic email, can't post it, and can't revert. What is going on here?

Why do you keep changing me from Classic Email. I don't want your NEW LOOk where I can't see anything because of my vision. It takes forever to find HOW TO CHANGE IT BACK TO CLASSIC also.

Ive used aol for all my personal and business for years. I use a formatted signature block which includes my business logo, address, and several icons for organizations of which I am a member. The new version of AOL does not allow me to copy and past this signature block into my "writing emails" settings! Even signed up for AOL support and they were unable to fix this. She said it's a bug in the new version. Can we please go back to the previous version!

Biggest issue is with the look and feel. Why is it all redesigns of websites feel like it was a 7 year old doing it? Big blocks... lots of wasted space... emojis instead of words...

yeah, new format is lousy-just a step backwards, somebody's bright idea that wasn't beta tested long enough

Great way to lose customers and AD REVENUE. No option to use old forma, then I'm an ex user. There goes AD REVENUE.

Just turned on my computer to check my emails to find out AOL has done it again. Their most recent "unwanted" upgrade. Their newest and latest upgrade "bomb." AOL just can't leave well enough alone. What I find even more upsetting with AOL. Not being able to go into Settings and Options to switch back to the Classic Email. AOL really need to look at all the customer complaints. Go Back To AOL Classic or give your customers the same option before in Settings to switch back to the Classic e-mail. Al Yellick

Trash update. We actually pay for the AOL e-mail service for support and back-up reasons, not being given the option to customize the dashboard as we have had for 15 plus years is crazy. Forcing an unwanted update, then taking away the ability to customize it for efficiency for our business makes no sense. I know email address and recognize those, I want the display to show the email address, not the registered name to the email, was informed this option was no longer available. Want the option to choose the column layout order, this is no longer an option. The ability to keep as new or mark unread is now under a drop down as opposed to a quick access button, was informed it is no longer an option. The customer service rep assured the changes were made to keep efficiency and stuff in mind... Pretty colors and backgrounds I could care less about. What I do care about is our business that relies heavily on email being able to keep track or emails and operate in a manor that is best for us. I would be willing to be there are thousands of other old school users in the same boat as us. There is a reason we are still with the AOL service. AOL took away that reason forcefully. I have denied "trying" the new layout every time I was given the option, which I would almost be willing to bet so has every other old school user. As a paying AOL service customer, I want the option to choose, not be told I have to accept what AOL thinks is a good option.

What have you done to emails? Absolutely shocking change and a huge step backwards. Like others who have commented, unless AOL change back, I'm off to gmail. It will be a pain to notify my contacts but its currently a bigger pain with the new email layout.
