font size incoming mail
I notice that my incoming mail is in smaller font size than it used to be.
I know I can change the font size in writing/composing email, but how can I change it for easier reading for the incoming mail without having to forward to myself in order to change it? Then it doesn't immediately show who it's actually from (it will say it's from me)
Hi there. To increase the font for your incoming emails, you can have the option turned on to ''Enable large text size'' when you go to Settings. Additionally, you can use the keyboard by pressing and holding CTRL then adjust the font with the ''+'' and ''-'' keys.

Your support pages on how to select and change font and font size is not correct. Clicking on the gear and more settings and then write email does have a spot for Default rich text settings but they won't stay. Each new email the font is different and the size does what it wants. Fix this. I still pay AOL monthly for what? A broken experience. Not to mention I get ads on my web AOL very top of my emails and on the right hand side and for what??? I pay you for email. Then you put a link " Why am I seeing ads" that takes you to how I can pay AOL to stop ads ???? HUH I am paying you AOL but I still get your ads???? Wonderful double dipping

It would really be nice if you actually answered the problem here instead of making people go to Facebook, Twitter/X, etc. We shouldn’t have to keep reading the same old, tired response of “I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue and I'd like to look more into it to help, please contact us on Twitter at @AOLSupportHelp or on Facebook at our AOL Customer Care page. If you do not have a social media account, we are available at help.aol.com.
Thank you,
AOL team”We came for a solution, not to be chasing all over the internet for it.

When I type my email and then increase the font size from 12 to 24, there is no space between the lines, the letters on the top row are touching the letters on the bottom row. I have a friend with vision difficulties, I'm having to switch to comcast email. It was working beautifully until yesterday. Fix this.

Use Rich Text/HTML. When I select this option nothing changes. Make selecting this option cause a change in the size and type of text.

All of a sudden the text size in emails (composed and received) has shrunk to an unreadable size!! This is ridiculous -- and there is no way to unclick the miniscule "selected" (by you!) font and pick our preference. Who thinks up these idiotic changes?? Please immediately change it back to allow us to pick the type font and size, and have it remain that until WE change it. Every day it's something new with the "improved" AOL mail. Please just STOP.

I am tech challenged and sight as well. That happens to some of us old folks. I thought my computer was messed up or I accidentally hit a setting. It's AOL's new email and when I type now there is 1/2 space between the lines and you can't read what is written. I saw the many complaints and now that I know it is AOL not my computer I too am thinking what the ****? Gen Z or later thinking they can make things just for them vs those who use AOL their customers. Fix your errors and shut down. More do not like your recent changes/upgrades and someone trying to make a name for themselves. What happened to common sense and good judgement? I was on Compuserve before it was AOL and it was MUCH better back then. These kids and management of today are clueless.

Aol - you have really messed up with this new change of format.
Additionally today I called in and even though the tech Jake tried to help me, he was unable to. When composing the lines run into each other. This happens both on AOL and Yahoo as well. It just began this week. Jake said that he would refer the issue to second level support, but I have NO CONFIDENCE in second level support to fix this issue as they have not fixed any of my issues in the past and I am a paying member. Get it together AOL or you will die out.

Can you get your programmers to use a larger Scale & Layout when programming your webpage. ie Default is 1920 x 1080. Us elderly with poor sight who have their screen set to 125% or even 150% struggle to find things on the website.

I have previously reported font size as a problem in the new aol. Please know that many of us who have been with aol since its inception are also senior citizens. Even on the largest size setting I am missing and not seeing numerous emails. Please come up with a fix very soon or restore the old aol so I can find and read my email
