UNABBLE TO ACCESS AOL EMAIL

My email does not load after logging in. The AOL Mail page opens with a blank page with an incomplete circle going round and round endlessly in the middle of the page. The settings gear icon does not function when clicked. As such, I am locked out of my email. First, I could not even login with my correct details. I had been locket out of my own account, though a call to AOL US Help confirmed my account was active. AOL US Help told me to contact AOL UK Help for assistance by giving me AOLUKqueiries@aol.com, as AOL UK Help has no phone contact. When I contacted AOL UK queries, I received a non-committal no response reply, that they do not accept mail via AOL UK queries, but with advice to use AOL Help via a link. And at AOL Help, after filling out the form and clicking Send, I get the message that my Email address: DRCLEMENTAKATENG@AOL.COM is not recognised. How flabbergasting! I am being sent round and round in circles, while I am on International calls to them, which cost me a lot of money, just gain access to my email. No one seems to know or have knowledge at AOL apart from one John, probably from India, who after listening to me took down my details and gave me reference numbers for both my AOL and Gmail addresses. He told me he was going to escalate the matter, and if I hadn't heard or seen any changes within 48 hours, I should call back. After 48 hours, I called several AOL staff, and when I referred them to the Reference numbers, which they were always unwilling to accept. And after a long chat, they would accept them but do not tell me what they entail, but only that they do not accept calls from UK customers. So I should contact AOL UK queries with my problem, even after explaining to them so many times that AOL UK is non-functional. What a baloney! Nobody works at AOL any more. Gone are the good old days when I first joined AOL in September 2002. DR CLEMENT AKATENG MD.
