Blocking SPAM

For a short time - a couple of weeks? - there was a feature on AOL that allowed block and delete SPAM emails with one click. This was the BEST feature ever, and I LOVED it. At last! AOL was doing it right. I was able to click all the bunch of emails - and could send back to regular mail anything that made it to the SPAM folder that was legitimate - and the with one click delete and block all the other senders. I could even see the senders names just to double check. This was the MOSt EFFICIENT, WONDERFUL feature and ended my years long frustration with AOL. Now that feature has suddenly disappeared. It is totally unrealistic to return back to the cumbersome way of blocking spam mail. WHY OH WHY did AOL revert to the old awful way!

    In the last several days, I have been receiving obviously spam emails from a variety of school districts: rpsb.us, Dcsdk12.org, lvusd.org, boiseschools.org with different usernames attached, and am wondering if there a social media post going viral showing kids how to create spam or a new ploy of spoofing legitimate addresses or possibly an organization hacking into school district servers. There have been about 30 emails in the past week, and the number and addresses keep increasing. I would hate to have to block, for example, all .org mails because of my legitimate organizations and charities. Please advise.

    Sick and tired of having to delete 30 spam emails a day. Why the **** can't you prevent this. All other mail platforms have been able to block spam.

    AOL's email spam filters have lost significant functionality from the last update or two. We need the ability to filter with wildcards in the domain names, in order to label spam / block permanently block certain senders. For example, 80% of my spam emails are from a scammer that has *.offers[offer/offert].com. Currently I cannot search for or label these emails as spam. The problem is that AOL offers no ability to block "two part" domain names (ex: *.***.com). That is a huge problem, as I likely get 40-60 spam emails a day from one spammer.

    So I noticed this morning that we are unable to BLOCK emails as spam. Is there any real reason for this new feature?

    it's not an improve, but WHY am i getting emails without an email address? i know most are spam, but how are they getting thru and how do i block "no name" emails?

    For 4 blissful days I had no spam. Prior to that I was receiving up to 30 a day. Today I have 10. Please do whatever you were doing and get rid of the **** spam. Thank you.

    I DID A SEARCH FOR IP 209.85.128.45 AND IT SHOWS A LOCATION OF BRUSSELS, BELGIUM AND network-abuse@google.com, WHICH I USED TO REPORT THIS SPAM MAIL.

    THIS SPAMMER CAN CAUSE GREAT HARM AS INDIVIDUALS RECEIVING THIS SPAM EMAIL MAY DISCLOSE VERY CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION. AS AN ELDER, THIS IS VERY UPSETTING AND HAS UNNERVED ME.

    I LIVE IN ENGLAND. I AM 84. Please BLOCK SPAM from being delivered. If not make sure SPAM is on MENU so I can block the ****.

    Look at the past setup. Don't waste my time having to weed out junk, as well as filling the spam folder. This new group who took over AOL don't know what they are doing.
