How can we improve AOL Mail?

Folder goes bold when new content arrives

I would like a folder to change to bold when there is new content in it. I thought this use to work, but now it definitely does not - is there some setting I can change?

    There are key emails that I am looking out for and I would like this mechanism to be back in place or added if possible.
