Although it is possible that my problems with my aol email are primarily due to the age of my computer, it is not by complete coincidence that I had no problems before you changed your email a few months back, and I have had many ongoing problems ever since - and ONLY on AOL email. There must be SOMETHING you can do to remedy the situation, and I, a customer of yours since the 90's, would appreciate knowing that you actually gave this your true consideration at the HIGHEST LEVELS. One problem is that anything I type in an email takes FOREVER. Each letter takes about 5 seconds or more to appear, and it is excruciatingly slow. THE REALLY INEXPLICABLE and VERY ANNOYING item is that when I set my cursor to type into the body of the email, the typing automatically shows up where the recipient's name should go. I DO NOT WANT THE RECIPIENT'S NAME THERE UNTIL AFTER THE BODY OF THE EMAIL IS WRITTEN.
You get the idea--- this is a MESS! Please see if there's anything you can do on your end, and let me know.

We're very sorry that you're experiencing these issues with AOL Mail! Unfortunately, it does sound like it may be related to your system. Have you tried a different browser, or Basic Mail? https://help.aol.com/articles/switch-to-basic-version-of-aol-mail
