FALSE ADVERTISING
I pay $5 per month for what was advertised as AD FREE EMAIL. It is certainly not AD FREE! I receive ads every day in my inbox. TALK ABOUT FALSE ADVERTISING!
We regret hearing that. Could you please reach out to us at help.aol.com so that we may look into it?

McAfee just posted an ad that says "A virus has been detected." This is PATENTLY FALSE and is merely attempting to DEFRAUD people into clicking and getting their enormous SPAM DUMP. PLEASE stop allowing YOUR advertisers to post this kind of FRAUDULENT ADS. If you want respect - AOL - then act respectful!

I clicked on a paid ad that was on my email list. It said "Funny Photos" and when I clicked on it it took me to a page that asked me if I wanted to be a subscriber. When I clicked "No" a pop-up for a fake Microsoft Website said in a recorded voice that my computer was locked and that I had to call a number to unlock it.
This is a SCAM and shouldn't be allowed on AOL Mail. Don't you screen these paid ads?

Why am I suddenly receiving so many pop-ups even though I have them shut off in settings?

Don't like the new AOL - so many pop up, can't complete my daily tasks. So frustrating.
