Move or eliminate banner with 5 icons
There is a banner with 5 icons, Contacts, Calendar, Notepad, Questions, Settings. How do I move or eliminate the banner & icons. The purpose is to free up the space to the right of the email in-tray of incoming emails and provide a wider view of the emails to manage more easily.

I AGREE!!! THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE STOOPIDEST DAYUMM "UPGRADE" I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! MAKE THE TASKBAR VERTICAL AND GIVE US A BIGGER READING PANE.
ALSO MAKE THE COMPOSITION/READING PANE HIGHER THAT 1 GODDDAYUMM INCH!!!
