I agreed to the charge to reduce commercial ads on my mail but there has been no change

no change, too many commercial ads on my mail site...what gives?

    I have been a customer for years as is evidenced by my my user id (massspec). massspec, not masspec22 or masspecMeToo. massspec as in the first and original.

    I pay AOL 14.99/month for email service. I could use Gmail for free and you want to charge me an additional 4.99/moth for add free service? Outrageous!
