This is a critical update as the font size by default is too small.

In the AOL mail APP, there is no way to increase the font size in the emails I write. Please put that in the settings as an option. I searched and even called and the rep had to check with her supervisor to determine that there is no way to do so. It’s not comfortable to read such small font.

This has become a nightmare for me. The split screen is useless when I am trying to file my email. Please stop interferring with the drag and drop.

I want to see the entire body of my email that I am writing. The window for the writing is only about 2 inches and the window for the addresses is huge and unnecessary. I want to see what my email looks like as a whole not just four lines of my email. It is ridiculous that I cannot change this on my own and have to go to you to complain about it. What a dumb arrangement! Please change this so that the body of my email is the predominant space on my screen.

I'm trying to update the Privacy Control Dashboard options since the Yahoo acquisition. When I go to the page, I see all the options available (like automated email analysis, Yahoo's independent use of your information, etc.). When I click on an option to update it, it says the same thing no matter what browser I use and no matter if my VPN is on or off. I'd love to send you a screenshot, but I don't see how to do that. The screen says "OH NO! We were unable to process your request Start Over. It does that no matter what option I try or whether I log in, log out, etc. etc. Please help. I am not comfortable with these privacy controls and want to change them as soon as possible. I've been a LONG TIME AOL user and would hate to leave. Thank you.

Every time I try to file an email in a folder the whole screen slides to the right and something pops up to split the screen or something. This is SO irritating!!!! I have to keep toggling back and forth and the whole screen is shifting just to try and file an email. Turn this off!!!

There is no way to decrease the brightness without going totally dark! neither of these are helpful for people with migraines or light sensitivity! I have to go days without reading emails then I have 1000's due to all the junk you can't get rid of! PLEASE help!

I have same problem plus a separate column/pane opens on the left for 'split view'. How do I stop that?

Here on uservoice.com, I see links to "← AOL Mail Norrin". I had to ask an AI what that meant. It told me that Norrin is the codename for AOL mail.

This is a uservoice.com page, intended to collect feedback from the general public, not a place to post insider codenames. Without an explanation of what "Norrin" means, the link looks odd, useless, or even a little intimidating ("I'd better not click that. Does it go to the private area of someone named Norrin?")

The interface used to have a button to insert a horizontal rule (a.k.a. a horizontal line). Very useful for putting a visual separator between sections of text. It allowed users to make their emails look more professional.

I think it simply inserted the HTML <hr> tag. So, very easy to implement.

Why would you get rid of such a nice feature? Bring it back!

Excellent features should not be eliminated in the interest of dumbing down the interface.

BUG REPORT:

When reading an email, users can't drag the mouse pointer right-to-left to select text. The moment the mouse button is released, the blue highlighting disappears, and the text cannot be copied.

This does not happen when dragging left-to-right.

For decades, apps and web pages didn't care which direction you drag your mouse pointer. Text selection was successful either way.

This bug is a significant regression in user experience. Please restore standard mouse selection behavior.

why does this now have its own built in browser? its absolutely awful, go back to opening links in my default browser, absolutely no one asked for asked for this. I don't want to sign in to amazon in your browser, just take me to the actual app.

After adding an attachment to an outgoing email and want to open it prior to sending, allow it to simply be opened it like it used to be, without having to download and saving it first (a wasted effort and creates a duplicate document).

What made AOL think that there was something wrong with the old format? There is so much "stuff" on your AOL page, and there are so many adjustments and things I now have to do to get to my mail where before I just clicked on it, and there it was. I did not have to go through eliminating pages and increasing the size of the mail area in order to read my emails. I really hope you are listing to your customers.
