AOL Mail not working with Gmailify -- bad certificate issued on July 29, 2025

Gmailify for AOL is not working as of 7-29-25

To AOL: You deployed the wrong certificate on top of the AOL API authentication endpoint. While you may be able to move past it in specific browsers, nothing is going to work until they correct the certificate. The certificate name is mismatched to the domain being used, and the certificate was created on July 29, 2025.

    I succeeded! After syncing with AOL by Gmail app of Android, the Windows version also synced via Gmailify. However, the folders were duplicated.

    Can't access my AOL email via Gmail. Need to do this as I share the account and have to send to GMail to then forward on to others as you stopped the forwarding feature some time ago. Will need to change my primary email away from AOL if this isn't fixed really soon.

    My main email address is an aim account via aol, and I have always had headaches connecting it to my gmail, and it usually bugs out and disconnects at least once a year, and I guess it's that time again. I kept getting an authentication error from gmail for the aim account, so I removed the account and the only way I was able to re-add it was as a separate account with a separate one time password.
    However, when I select the account on the gmail mobile app and hit "Link account" to connect it with Gmailify so I can properly view the emails together and delete them and have it sync like I had done before, I end up at a screen that says "Please log in" at the top but is completely blank and doesn't actually load anything.
    When I try to do it on desktop, I select "Add a mail account", I log into the aim account as prompted (one time password does not work here), and then there's no "next" or "add account" option like the instructions say there should be, I'm simply left with a mini window of aol.com.
    I spent hours trying to fix this when it happened 7 days ago, and have been checking it daily to see if it's finally working since then.. Please fix this.

    my AOL mail automatically get delivered to my Gmail inbox - But it is no longer working because of the following error.
    It seems there is something missing because I get this error: "This server could not prove that it is api.screenname.aol.com; its security certificate is from *.fantasysports.yahoo.com. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection." Please fix the certificate. Thanks

    I can not add my AOL account via gmail.
    Tried to remove it and add it again which doesn't work.
    Seems to be a wrong certificate or something.

    Please prioritise it, since a lot of users can not access their mails anymore.
