AOL Mail not working with Gmailify -- bad certificate issued on July 29, 2025

Gmailify for AOL is not working as of 7-29-25

To AOL: You deployed the wrong certificate on top of the AOL API authentication endpoint. While you may be able to move past it in specific browsers, nothing is going to work until they correct the certificate. The certificate name is mismatched to the domain being used, and the certificate was created on July 29, 2025.

    Cannot relink compuserve email (thru aol) back to Gmail inbox. Has worked for years. Please fix!

    When I log in to AOL I am getting a security warning! I assume this has something to do with it... that's some sloppy IT work there people. Get it fixed!

    I tried removing it from Gmalify and readding it. Now I can't add it again. It goes into AOL but won't ask me for permissions or add it into Gmail. I also can't remove the access permissions for Gmail that are in my AOL account, when I ask to remove it, I get an error message. (I tried deleting all my history and cookies)

    Why has the incorrect certificate not been corrected in almost a week?

    I have imported my AOL email to Gmail happily for years. For the reason above it now does not work. It would make my life much easier if I could use Gmail for all my emails.

    How is this not fixed yet? It's been broken over a week now. Unacceptable.
