AOL has created a critical, major headache for me when it completed an email upgrade. That upgrade DELETED a "sort" option, "Sort by Sender."

After just a couple of days I may have as many as 300 emails. Previously, I was able to "Sort By Sender," to isolate specific senders, and group delete all of that sender's emails.

Your tech support offered to give a suggestion to "search" a sender, but that not only grouped the sender's emails, but that search also included emails from other senders that may include part of the targeted sender's name. So, the search function is inadequate for the purpose of grouping one sender's email.

The idea I am posting is, "BRING BACK SORT BY SENDER." Please!

Seit dem Update werden meine gelesenen Mails sofort in den Ordner "gelesen" verschoben. Es gibt Mails, die ich später bearbeiten möchte und darum im Posteingang behalten möchte, kann das verschieben aber nicht verhindern. Vorher konnte ich das in den Einstellungen ändern, die Option gibt es nicht mehr. Bitte ändern Sie das wieder!
Ausserdem nervt es, den Support nur auf Englisch zu erhalten. AOL Mail wird in Deutschland angeboten, also erwarte ich auch den Support auf Deutsch!

Make it easier for users to correct a recipient's e-mail address when composing a message. I don't appreciate having to click on the x to delete the address, then start over and hopefully type it without any errors. It's time-consuming and irritating.

I definitely need the ability to SORT BY SENDER IN NEW MAIL. After doing a quick scroll through New Mail, I usually open the emails that must be moved and saved to a specific folder. Once I do that, I always intend to go back to New Mail at a later time and sort the remaining emails, but more times than not, I get busy or just forget to go back. Now, my New Mail inbox contains over 80K emails, going back a few years. I manage 5 different AOL email accounts (plus 3 Gmail accounts) for personal and business use. 

I need to be able to sort by sender, so that I can easily weed out and delete expired store promos and other junk mail.

This used to be easy when I could group emails by sender.  As it is, the current state of AOL operation is not very user-friendly. Another problem glitch occurs when I try to delete just one email using the red trash can on the far right of the email list. Instead of deleting that one email, IT OPENS IT. This is very annoying.

PLEASE PRIORITIZE THESE PROBLEMS ON THE "FIX IT' LIST AT AOL. I have been using AOL since the DIAL-UP DAYS...I have stayed with AOL all these years. Now I have so much email history saved in folders (receipts for online purchases, various notifications, etc.) ...I REALLY NEED AOL EMAIL TO FUNCTION SMOOTHLY AND SIMPLY. In comparison, I know that Gmail DOES have the capability to group emails by sender. If AOL can't get it together SOON, I will be inclined to switch ALL 5 of my AOL accounts to Gmail.  Every day, I waste time being aggravated, just to manage emails. Your attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Please add a native “Forward as Attachment” / “Attach Message” feature to AOL Mail on the web as soon as possible.

This option should work in AOL Mail across supported web browsers, including Vivaldi, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and other browsers, rather than being limited to a particular desktop application or browser.

Currently, AOL Mail’s normal Forward button inserts the original message inline into the new message. The More menu also does not provide a “Forward as Attachment” or “Attach Message” option.

Please allow users to forward an existing email as its original MIME/RFC 822 message attachment (for example, message/rfc822 or .eml), preserving the complete original headers, MIME structure, body, and other message data.

This is especially important for users who report spam and phishing to services such as SpamCop. SpamCop specifically recommends forwarding spam as an attachment to the user’s personal SpamCop submission address so that the original message structure and headers are preserved correctly.

Suggested locations for the feature:

• More → Forward as Attachment
• Right-click/message-list menu → Forward as Attachment
• Compose → Attach Message
• Ability to attach one or multiple selected existing emails to a new message

This would also be useful beyond SpamCop for abuse reports, phishing investigations, technical support, email administrators, and anyone who needs to send an original email without AOL converting it into an inline forwarded message.

Please implement this directly in AOL Mail Web so it works consistently across browsers.

Please allow wildcards in blocked addresses. I've recently started get many spam emails every day almost all of which come from two top-level domains with mutating sub-domains. This makes it difficult to scan the spam folder for misclassified legitimate email. It appears that many other users have the same problem. With wildcards it would be easy to discard these as they arrive, keeping spam folders manageable and even saving storage and further processing.

Provide users the option to chat directly with staff instead of directing them to send a message through social media, the AOL help page or make a phone call.

I cannot schedule emails to be sent at a later date on my Lenova Yogi laptop. I have tried alll browsers and still no luck

Suggestion:
Please add an optional AOL Mail feature that lets users reject unwanted senders or domains at the server level, so future messages receive a genuine delivery failure indicating the address is unavailable to that sender.
This could be offered alongside Block Sender and Filters, with clear warnings and confirmation before activation. It would be especially useful for persistent spam because the sender would not simply see successful delivery to an active mailbox.
Please consider allowing users to create individual sender or domain-level “Reject/Bounce” rules while keeping their AOL address active for everyone else.

Please increase AOL Mail’s current 500-filter limit, ideally to 1,000 or more, or provide a separate domain-blocking list that does not consume filter slots. Users dealing with persistent spam may need to block many changing senders and domains over time. Thank you for considering this improvement.

Since posting this idea, I have discovered that the column seems to appear when an email is from a business, it does not appear when the email is from a friend or family member. It also does not seem to appear when an email is from a person at an organization, a museum for example.

To clarify, the column of sender information - website, phone number, icons for Facebook, Twitter, etc. did NOT used to appear when viewing an email on web browser. This column takes up space that could be displaying the email contents. This happens on a laptop in both Safari and Chrome. There should be an option to turn this off.

I use folders to categorize my emails. Now you have this feature when I go to put items in folders that causes a "Split view" box to popup, shifting the folders to the right. THIS IS ONE OF THE DUMBEST THINGS I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!!!

i miss old email. I have over 50K emails and sometimes mass delete by sender. Not able to do so with new one.
