This popped up in a prior release, but the 'error' was ignored by retrying the send.
This time, It flat out won't send it.

WHEN an email is read, then clicked " Mark Unread" - it is NOT reset in DARK BLACK, The red arrow is removed BUT, IT IS DIFFICULT TO SEE, PLEASE RESTORE THE DARK BLACK AS IT WAS FOR YEARS ..

Years ago, AOL stopped working and didn't warn you that the INCOMING SAVED EMAIL or the MAIL YOU SENT filled up and locked up AOL. I try to remember to delete them occasionally ,,
BUT - what would really help: A Delete Older Than a Given Date Option. Either one I set and leave or one I enter when I need

Come on guys,, Gathering Feedback for OVER A YEAR!!

This would be more than a "nice toy" if you add the COUNT of occurrences found, it'd be a VERY USEFUL FUNCTION!

& Putting the input area in the TOP BAR would be easier to find.

Searching for a string in the top window does NOT show number found.
Nor does it show when NONE are found.
Also, placing it on the bottom edge NEEDS something (Color?) to be added to make it stand out.

That old 9.8 desktop had an 'easy-to-find' input area, this one - hidden on the extreme bottom line wasn't easy to locate for some time..

It is still missing the count of found and ZERO if not found...

Just clicked on one of the "empty" hyperlinked words and it worked.. But the drop down shows that I can ADD a Hyperlink (old AOL indication there was none) -- AND no hyperlink is shown when mouse over... ALL in ALL - just a messy confusing way that was never examined by the programmer responsible for this.. Like so many other bugs in this "Gold" (should be called "Lead")

This was in the old AOL Desktop v9 and earlier.
You've been "Gathering Feedback" ever since GOLD.. FIX IT!

Currently, attempting to replace an existing hyperlink with blanks WILL NOT WORK.. This leads to having to delete and retype the entire hyperlinked words and phrases

When text has a 'hidden' URL underlying it, and I wish to remove it from the copied reply, I can't. The old 9.2 option to "Remove Hyperlink" is missing from Gold.

The Insert Hyperlink is there, but the Remove is missing. Using "Insert" to 'remove' any existing URL gives an error message about inserting a missing 'http://www.'; ?!?!? and no option other than Cancel or OK, no 'NO'

I believe the old 9.2 would NOT present the "Remove Hyperlink" option WHEN THERE WAS NO HYPERLINK in the pointed to text

I originally requested this back in February (it is now July)

An error occurred while saving the comment
    Bob Krampetz commented  ·

Now, when you mouse over a highlighted and other-colored word, which could be a possible HYPERLINKED word, the drop down does NOT show Remove Hyperlink. It DOES HAVE - ADD HYPERLINK - this is the opposite of how AOL use to work.
The new Gold way makes it appear that there is NO Hyperlink, and one can be added. This change confuses the use of hidden Hyperlinks.

Half done.. From HTML to TEXT retains formatting, BUT TEXT to HTML strips all new-line, or double line formatting from the Text to HTML conversion.

I copy/pasted text someone emailed to me, into another email I was writing to another person.
The formated text was not aligned properly, and I used a technique that worked on the old AOL.
I changed it to Text, then changed it back to HTML via the dropdown.
All was lost, no linefeeds, no blank lines, all one giant run-on sentence

Thank you for your feedback. Our engineering team is currently working on fixing this issue.

As a workaround, you can right-click on the attachment preview and select “Save image as” in order to save a copy of the image.

It's been quite a while (Jun 2018) since you guys wrote: ".. currently working on fixing this issue" ... and it's still occuring. in Sept.

I like that you display the attached images AS IF THEY WERE IMBEDDED in the email -- BUT as my relatives send images both ways, imbedded and/or attached, and even both in one email, I'm prone to click on the image in order to save it, causing your unhelpful and disrupting error msg via a web page pop-up.

Why not just a simple pop-up allowing the same as if I clicked on the download image??
