Date / times should be configurable in the message layout / list view. For today's emails it's enough to see the time of the email. But for prior days just having the date is not sufficient. Almost impossible to find yesterday's email received at a specific time. It should be trivial to toggle off or on and require much less programming than showing date separations in the list.
