Because they can then target advertising related to your FB activity. Companies like Huff Post and AOL have no social conscience or integrity. Just like Google, their only interest is revenue.

The problem is.... AOL and Huff Post are anything but professional. This is made glaringly obvious by their articles and headlines. Regarding fake, misleading headlines, AOL is becoming the leader in FAKE NEWS sometimes second only to Trump.
