this has always been a mystery to me as well......going back to the 90s. Why have a blocked sender list if all it does is funnel it to SPAM anyway. Occasionally some SPAM source will be burying me in emails, 5-10 per day and I would love for this feature to keep those out of my email/SPAM entirely so I never have to see them.

also it is possible this is a Firefox issue and not AOL. I can't figure out which. I just installed Firefox 75 for MAC in the last few days and this message started to appear "For your security we disabled all images and links in this email. If you believe it is safe to use, mark this message as not spam." and other things about AOL mail changed as well.

100% agreed---this has screwed things up for me as well in how I handle important emails that I must see. I funnel the 100+ emails/day I get from EBAY into SPAM and I MUST be able to see images.....that they just did this and gave us no option to disable what they did......?! What genius thought this was a good idea?

I posted a feedback on 12/18/19 to this effect.......I have been informed on 12/18/19 that the AOL Contacts/AddressBook is no longer editable...........after a 2 hour nightmare with online chat, remote sessions and phone calls. They explained that it was a "migration issue" having something to do with Yahoo and AOL merging and that since then (almost a year ago)......any edit to an existing contact has not been saved. This is too stupid to be believed but this is what phone support told me after multiple consults with a "senior technician". I am PAYING for AOL--which is ridiculous enough--BUT they give you a Contact List that once a contact is entered, it can no longer be changed ??? The support person told me if I wanted to change a contact, I should save the current one, DELETE the current one and then start over making a new contact for the same person. In case anyone from AOL doubts this, refer to case #11114301 for reference. I HATE this and I am looking into getting out of AOL after 20+ years. My entire business contact list is inside AOL email and now it's been frozen from editing.
