  2. replace DESKTOP GOLD with a version that does not change the format of emails. Older versions didn't do this; future ones shouldn't, either.

  6. let me type in an email address without demanding access to my phone contacts. no. also, deleted emails should delete, not reappear.

    when i need to send an email to a new address, aol does not need access to my phone contacts. I'm typing an address from the web. it is not in my contacts!
