SPAM
Since downloading and utilizing this app my SPAM mailed has increased tremendously!! Please install stronger filters!!
We are continually making changes to improve your experience.
If unwanted junk mail is getting through your filters, the best way to stop it is to mark it as spam, under the ‘More’ menu.
For advanced settings, go to mail.aol.com on a desktop computer and create filters under Mail Settings. You can filter incoming mail to go to the folders where you want them — or, make unwanted mail from specific senders go straight into Trash or Spam. Note: You can create up to 50 filters.

Starting to get OBVIOUS Spam in my inbox again. You need to really sort out your software, cause these are CLEARLY spam that I’m getting put in my inbox instead of in my spam folder. Those, these shouldn’t even be allowed to get to my account with how blatant these spam emails are.

I set up filters but they never work. Mail keeps going in my spam folder. I have a gmail and yahoo email account and this one is far worse than either of those. Nothing works the way it’s supposed to and it’s no wonder that people laugh and make fun of aol. I’ve had this account since the mid 90s but I think it’s about time to dump it.

I’ve brought this up before and it looks like I have to bring it up again. I’m getting spam sent to me, and it’s CLEARLY spam, which you should stop it before it gets into my inbox. Some these are so obviously spam that it shouldn’t have got through. Last time I got told to mark it as spam and it’ll go into my spam folder instead of my inbox. First off, I shouldn’t have to do that with some of these obvious spam emails, and second, is that when I do mark it as spam, I still get, the EXACT SAME SPAM, sent into my inbox instead of it going into the spam folder. So that advice you gave me was a lie or the software you use to send it to the spam folder doesn’t work. This needs sorting as I’ve been bringing up valid points and problems throughout my long time using AOL and you don’t seem to listen. If this doesn’t get sorted PROPERLY, and I MEAN PROPERLY, then I think I need to go with someone else to provide my email services.
